"When my mother died we found a will that she had made using the internet. Unfortunately, it had not been completed properly and was not valid. We then found an older will that had been lodged with a local attorney. This latter will differed substantially from the second one, so we asked my father what he thought she wanted. He agreed with neither of them, and pointed out that the second will had been witnessed by a relative. Everything went to probate and my father's bank accounts, which were all shared with my mother, were frozen for 6 months. During this time the only money he had was that which I sent to him on a monthly basis. What if he hadn't had me?"
