1970

Fouts & MorganĀ is incorporated by Jimmie D. Fouts and Don W. Morgan in Memphis, Tennessee.

1978

Doug Garner and Donny Short joins the firm.

1980

The firm moves from White Station Tower to Sanderlin Avenue.

1990

Michael Odom joins the firm.

1991

Randal Gregory joins the firm

1999

Katz & Company merges its practice with Fouts & Morgan.

2001

Doug Garner becomes Managing Partner of the firm.

2001

Fouts & Morgan joins CPAmerica, one of the largest associations of independent CPA firms in the United States and member of Crowe Global, internationally.

2004

Gary Purdy joins the firm.

2005

The firm is saddened by the death of founding partner, Don Morgan.

2008

The firm mourns the loss of founding partner, Jimmie Fouts.

2011

The firm moves to its current location in the Renaissance Center on Aaron Brenner Drive.

2018

Randal Gregory becomes Managing Partner of the firm.

2020

During the COVID-19 crisis, the firm utilizes its remote technology to allow physical distancing for its staff and clients to help keep them safe, while maintaining close virtual contact and uninterrupted service.
